High-Risk pregnancy referrers to a state where something went wrong during the pregnancy and there is a high risk of major health problems to the baby or the mother. There can be multiple scenarios which comes under the umbrella of High-Risk Pregnancy including:
- The mother is under 17 or over 35.
- The mother is too overweight or underweight to give normal birth.
- The mother possesses twins or triplets in her belly.
- The mother is suffering from serious health issues.
- The mother is facing early labour pain.
